Garrett Jellison
After studying at Augsburg College, Garrett Jellison quickly entered the insurance industry at the age of 22. After spending some time self-employed and learning the tricks of the trade, he soon started Jellison Agency and recently celebrated the tenth anniversary of the business in 2017. Along with the help of his parents who are also in the insurance business, Garrett had the main aim of helping every client meet their goals in protecting their family, their home, and their lifestyles.
Having been born in Plano, Texas, Garrett moved to Minnesota to attend college before recently moving back to continue the family business. In the years ahead, Garrett wants to remain honest in his role, to continue offering the very best service possible, and to become the number one company for federal and postal employee benefit consulting in the Dallas area. To date, he believes his involvement in the success of the business to be his greatest achievement.
In terms of his family life, he just recently married his long-term sweetheart, JoAnna, whom he met in Minnesota and joined him in the recent move to Texas. His father Paul, having owned a branch of Farmers Insurance for 25 years, has plenty of experience to offer in addition to Garrett’s mother who helps within the office to keep the business going strong. Just in case this wasn’t enough, Garrett’s brother, Drew, and his wife, Julia, are also involved in the day-to-day activities.
Away from the pressures of work, Garrett is an avid fisherman but he also enjoys both running and golf. Elsewhere, he played slow-pitch softball for many years after a shoulder injury put an end to this “career.” However, he still likes to watch sports on TV including the basketball and football.
Above all else, Garrett believes honesty to be the cornerstone of any business and Jellison Agency places the biggest emphasis on the customer. By offering the best possible customer service, the company can sell products but also ensure their clients are in the right position moving forward in their lives. In total, the family has 35 years in the business and Garrett sees no reason why this should come to an end anytime soon!
